Bihar Scholarship Eligibility 

• Be a native of Bihar state.
• The student should belong to SC / ST / OBC category.
• For the financial year 2019-20, the income of the guardian of the backward-class student should not exceed 01.50 lacks.
• The income of the guardian of the student for the backward class financial year 2020-21 should not exceed 02.50 lakhs.
• For the financial year 2021-22, the income of the guardian of the student should not exceed 03 lakhs.
• The income of the guardian of the SC / ST student for the financial year 2019-20, and 2020-21 should not exceed 02.50 lakhs.
• The income of the guardian of the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe student for the financial year 2021-22 should not exceed 03 lakhs.
• Those students who have passed the matriculation examination and are studying in higher classes only can avail themselves of the benefit.
• Backward Classes / Extremely Backward Classes who have more than 02 sons (only for son, not for daughter) only their 02 sons will be able to take advantage of this scheme.

The Government of Bihar, Education Department provides scholarships for OBC, EBC, SC, and ST categories whose family income from all sources should be up to 3 lacks.
