Delhi Police Constable Selection Process
The selection process is a four-stage process:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This is the first stage, conducted by the SSC. The exam consists of 100 questions for 100 marks and will be held in December 2025 or January 2026. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT): This is a qualifying test conducted by the Delhi Police. It includes a 1600-meter race, long jump, and high jump, along with physical measurements (height and chest).
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for the PE&MT will have their documents verified.
- Medical Examination: The final stage is a medical examination to ensure candidates are fit for police service.
